Make sure to rent a 4G pocket wifi device before your arrival in South Korea. I always opt to rent a 4G pocket wifi with unlimited data from Klook before our trip for better connectivity for as low as 130 php per day (₩3100/Day).

You can conveniently pick it up at any designated pick-up counter in Incheon and Gimpo airport upon arrival by just presenting the QR code and the registered credit card. You can also connect up to 3 devices, making it ideal for traveling with friends or family to save more.

It’s also user-friendly and does not require you to change your phone settings to connect it. But, it’s advisable to bring a power bank if you plan to use it all day since it has only battery life of 8 hours. .

You can rent the pocket Wifi through this link. 🙂

Here is the travel hack when you are in a budget: if you purchase the 24 hours pass, think about creating an itinerary where you can use it over 2 days for better value. Just Remember that if you activate the pass by 10am at your first attraction visit, 24 hours pass validity will expire by 9:59am the next day. So, It’s advisable to plan your destinations and check their opening hours before using the pass.
A good idea is to choose whole day activity on the next day, like wearing traditional hanbok or visiting Lotte World. Use it before 10am or before your pass expires to maximize discovery Seoul pass. When traveling from the airport to your hotel in Korea, you have several transportation options to choose from, including the popular AREX airport train, taking a taxi, or opting for the airport limousine bus.

The AREX (Airport Railroad Express) train is an affordable option at ₩ 9000, with a travel time of approximately 45 minutes. However, it’s important to be aware that this train service operates only until 21:40.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi for a more convenient but pricier option. Taxi fares can vary from ₩ 50,000 to ₩ 90,000 based on distance and traffic conditions.

But, if you want to avoid any hassles, avoid dealing with stairs and save money instead of taking a taxi, you might want to think about choosing the airport K-limousine bus. This service operates until midnight, costs ₩17000 won, and takes around 60 minutes to reach your destination.
